Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing, Nut-Roasting Machine Operator

Position: Machine Operator and Process control – Food and beverage processing- Nut-Roasting Machine Operators (NOC 9461)

Job Duties:

• Perform corrective machine adjustments.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Record production information.
• Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• Operate machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products,
• Operate machinery to package nuts and finished products.
• Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions and make adjustments to process variables such as cooking times, flow rate, temperature settings.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Feed nuts, and raw materials into machinery.
• Season and mix different nuts with different flavour
• Examine finished products for quality, readiness and flavour.

Position is available and open to Students, Youth, Indigenous people and Newcomers to Canada.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Language: English

Wage: $19/Hourly, approx. 8hrs daily, 40 hours weekly, 10 days vacation 4% Remuneration, 2 paid sick days,

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
