The job responsibilities of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager are;
 
  • Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeepers
  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping crews
  • He/She will co-ordinate inpection in assigned areas
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Prepare budget and conduct perfomance evaluations and appraisals
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staffs
  • Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
  • Respond to complaints of guests
Language: English

Job requirements:
  • Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or its equivalent for foreign graduates 
  • Work experience in housekeeping for at least 1 year
  • Must have  have First Aid and CPR Certificate and workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Must provide a criminal record check 

Benefits: Enrolment to MSP, and Work Safe BC

Terms of Employment: Permanent/ Full-time 40 hours/week paid at $18.00/hr
