Job requirements

Languages: English

Education:  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Security and Safety: Medical exam, Reference required

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel regularly, Own transportation, Willing to travel

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Overtime required, physically demanding, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks

Work Location Information:  Staff accommodation available, Various locations, Work in employer's/client's home, Willing to relocate

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Specific Skills:  Administer medications, Administer bedside and personal care, Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Collect specimens, Feed or assist in feeding, Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Health Care Aide Certificate, Personal Support Worker Certificate, First Aid Certificate
