Job Description:
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous-chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food & train kitchen staff
- Stock inventory appropriately & maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers
- Ensure that food comes in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Wage: $25 hourly for 30 working hours per week
Benefit: 10 days paid vacation
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements
- Education: College diploma from culinary program
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial food preparation
- Certificate: Cook Red Seal Certificate
- Language: Speak English, read English, and write English
