Job Duties:
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions
- Estimate food requirements and costs
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Clean kitchen and work areas, Manage kitchen operations
Experience: 1-2 years of experience
Hourly Rate: $ 16 Hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
