Position Summary 

I am looking for a Home Child Care Provider to care for my children.  I am looking for someone who takes initiative and is a responsible individual that I can trust with my children.  The main responsibilities of the role include supervising and caring for children, organizing activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Job Title: Home Child Care Provider 

Positions Available: 1 vacancy 

Salary: $15.00 CAD per hour for 40 hours a week 

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time 

Language: English 

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible 

Vacation: 4% of gross salary 

Work Location: Delta, BC 

Employment conditions: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., Non-smoking, Scent-free environment

Education: Secondary (high) School graduation certificate

Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience

Safety and Security: Reference Required

Job Description 

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents 
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children 
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods 
• Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants 
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home 
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development 
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children 
• Supervise and care for the children
