INDICAN ENTERPRISES LTD. is looking for a “Food Service Supervisor” to join their venture being operated as SANGAM RESTAURANT & CATERING located in Chilliwack, BC, Canada


Position: Food Service Supervisor
Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $17 hourly for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 1 year experience

Location: CHILLIWACK: 200 - 8705 Young Rd. Chilliwack, BC V2P 4P3

Food Service Suprervisor (NOC 6311) will have to perform all of these duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
  • Plan ahead and properly to meet work schedules.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; physically demanding; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods. Ability to Supervise 3-4 people;
