Location: Mississauga, salary $25.00/h, full time 36 h/week work setting: meat processing establishment, cold/refrigerated
Job requirements: experience: minimum 3 -5 years of experience in the trade including knowledge and experience in production of Eastern European meat products such as prepare and process meat by the Eastern European style/recipes from scratch including: adding spices/additives depending on type of sausage, mixing ingredients in determined proportions, processing as per customary tradition, ensure quality (duration, temperature, moisture, etc), monitoring the smokehouse to achieve the desired taste, developing and testing new Eastern European recipes, personal suitability: accurate, team player, reliability, organized, flexibility, effective interpersonal skills, dependability, experience in machines: slicing machine, salami mixer and cooker, power grinder, manual cutting utensil, band saw, sausage machine, fast-paced environment, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination
