Seawall Education Consulting Inc. is recruiting for an administrative officer (franchising) to work at its office in Vancouver, British Columbia.


Position Title:                     Administrative Officer (Franchising)

Salary:                               $23.50 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures related to business franchising and review, evaluate and implement new franchising procedures
  • Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
  • Coordinate and engage in communications with franchisees in Brazil with regard to marketing, products, global marketing strategy, franchising agreements, regulations, software and any other relevant matters between the employer and franchisees (including both one-on-one contact with individual franchisees and presentations to groups of franchisees)
  • Coach new franchisees with regard to products, sales and performance 
  • Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, supplies, and forms with respect to franchising
  • Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to franchising project planning and management processes
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
  • Follow up on franchisee performance and recommend strategies to improve sales and performance
  • Ensure that franchise agreements are enforced and franchise fees are paid on time
  • Ensure that franchising agreements are kept up to date and ensure that franchise files are organized
  • Search for new franchising markets


Job Requirements

  • University degree in business or a related field
  • At least three years of previous administrative experience is required
  • Previous administrative experience related to travel and tourism, international education service, and/or event planning is an asset
  •  Experience in ZOHO (online CRM) and ZOHO Books is an asset
  • Experience in and knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese is required
  • An understanding of Brazilian business practices and culture is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail are required
