Job Duties:

• Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment.
• Make adjustments to the machine to control speed, feed and path of the cut.
•  Operate cutting equipment.
•  Program equipment to perform production tasks
• Manoeuvre metal or plastic forming equipment.
•  Measure dimensions of finished products or workpieces to verify
• conformance to specifications.
• Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
•  Notice equipment operation to ensure the proper functioning
•  Document actions by completing production and quality logs
•  Analyse blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
•  Monitor lubrication of equipment or workpieces
• Position and fasten workpieces.
• Maintain safe environment by following safety measures and guidelines
