Operations Managers in security service organizations oversee and coordinate the day-to-day functioning of multiple sites. They ensure efficient service delivery, manage staff scheduling, maintain client satisfaction, handle operational issues, and support workforce management activities such as hiring, training, and performance monitoring. They work closely with supervisors, concierge teams, dispatch, and HR to maintain standards and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. They may be employed by security agencies or large organizations requiring multi-site operational oversight.

Operations Manager – Security Services (NOC 10029)

Operations Managers in security services perform the following duties:

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple sites to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

  • Manage scheduling for security guards, supervisors, head concierge staff, and other personnel to maintain adequate coverage.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, address concerns, and ensure consistent service satisfaction.

  • Supervise and support supervisors, concierge leads, and field employees, resolving operational issues as they arise.

  • Collaborate with HR on hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

  • Assess manpower requirements for each site and ensure staffing needs are fulfilled promptly.

  • Address employee concerns, monitor performance, and implement improvement or corrective action plans.

  • Work closely with Dispatch to fill open shifts and respond to urgent or last-minute staffing changes.

  • Maintain employee records, ensuring profiles, training documents, evaluations, and certifications remain updated.

  • Arrange, coordinate, and oversee training programs and ensure compliance with site-specific operational procedures.

  • Complete onboarding procedures for new hires, including orientation, training, and documentation verification.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor operations, interact with clients, and address concerns or service gaps.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.

  • Prepare incident reports and follow up on supervisor evaluations to implement corrective measures.

  • Support the development and updating of operational procedures to improve workflow efficiency and service quality.

  • Coordinate emergency response activities and ensure accurate documentation of all incidents.

  • Maintain high professional standards across all sites, ensuring staff represent the company appropriately.



Pay: $36 per hour
