Construction labourer

Company Info:

Fendina Inc. is a renovation company based in Barrie, ON. We provide residential and commercial remodeling services, including interior upgrades, maintenance work, and general repairs. We are currently seeking two Construction Labourers to join our team.

Position:                                               Construction labourer

Wage:                                                  C$ 31.00 hourly

Working Hours:                         30-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)

Vacation Pay:                                        4% of gross salary 

Terms of Employment:              Full-time, Permanent

Job duties:  

• Load and carry construction or renovation materials to the work area.
• Help carpenters, painters, drywall workers, and other trades with basic tasks.
• Clean work areas by removing old materials, garbage, and debris.
• Set up and take down ladders, simple barriers, and small scaffolding.
• Mix and spread materials like plaster, glue, cement, or other products.
• Do simple demolition work using hand tools such as hammers and pry bars.
• Clean and take care of tools and equipment after use.
• Follow safety rules and help keep the worksite clean and safe.
• Do other basic labour work on construction or renovation sites as needed.

Requirements:  

• Experience is an asset.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
