Meat cutter - retail or wholesale

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Meat Industrial Meat Cutter to join our team. As a MeatIndustrial Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for various tasks involved in the Cut, weigh,package, label and price meat products and quality control of meat products in our industrialfacility. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the abilityto work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Main duties:

- Cut, weigh, package, label and price meat, meat products for sale
- Suggest complementary and/or alternative meat or fish products to consumers
- Inspect the quality of meat expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and proper storage of meatproducts.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and report any issuesto the supervisor.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain a hygienic and safe workenvironment.
- Ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area
- Receive and store merchandise in accordance with the company's established standards
- Comply with government and company health and safety standards and occupational healthand safety standards and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in meat processingtechniques.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
