Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and team activities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and Canadian tax regulations.
Develop and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum of [5+] years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles and tax laws.
