Truck Trailer Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on truck trailers, including inspecting brake systems, wheel bearings, and other vital components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, such as air lines, brakes, and suspensions.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to solve complex problems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and advancements in the field of truck trailer maintenance and repair

Eligibility Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience of 3 to 5 years as a trailer and trailer mechanic. or in a similar role is beneficial.
• Extensive experience with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
• Exceptional understanding of mechanical and technical information.
• Strong verbal and written english communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Manual dexterity, experience with hand tools, and physical strength. 

Location: 5 Copper Rd, Brampton, ON L6T 4W5
Salary: $36.30 hourly / 30 hours per Week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
