Job description

Job title: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Full-time permanent. 

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week

Wage: $33.50/hour

Work Location: 27 Airport Heights Dr, St. John's, NL A1A 4W8

Language: English

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of gross salary

Job responsibility

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant.

2. Provide outstanding customer experience by deciding the services and operation procedures.

3. Recruit and train staff’s skills in serving.

4. Schedule staff’ shifts and supervise their work performance. 

5. Resolve customer’ complaints and responses positively.

6. Ensure our restaurant complies with up-to-date legislation.

7. Negotiate with ingredients and other suppliers.

8. Communicate with customers for catering experience.

Employment requirements

1. A college diploma in hospitality or food and beverage service management or a related field is request.

2. At least 1 year’ experience as a restaurant manager is required.

3. Experienced in supervising and leading a team. 

4. Strong customer service skills, multi-tasking. 

5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
