Aires Spray Foam and Insulation is looking for (2) permanent F/T Foamed Insulation Applicators for its busy Construction company to work in its operations in the commercial and Industrial settings in Calgary, Edmonton, and its surrounding areas, in the province of Alberta.

We prefer candidates with 3 years of experience as skilled insulators applicators, less experience will be considered upon demonstration of the appropriate level of skills. Some high school or industry courses in insulating an asset. The company is committed to hiring candidates that can work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and energetic environment.  Flexible and willing to work shifts. Candidates must possess a clean criminal record.  Language of work:  English. 

Salary Compensation:  $39.00/hr. for 30 per week

 Duties:

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation required.
• Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Remove asbestos or urea-formaldehyde insulation from buildings when required.
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
• Understand and operate spray equipment.
• Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Keep up to date with learning product lines.
