Construction Estimator (NOC: 22303)

Pacific Art Stone Inc. is seeking one (1) full-time, permanent Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and practical experience in cost estimation for construction and stone installation projects.

Location: 8585 123 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 6E2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Number of Vacancies: 01
Wage: $40.25 per hour for 30–40 hours per week
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages on each scheduled paycheck
Experience Required: Two to three years of experience in a similar role
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates of labour, material, and equipment costs for construction projects
• Prepare pre-qualification submissions and cost proposals for clients
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine scope of work
• Prepare estimates for general expenses, overhead, and project timelines
• Conduct economic feasibility studies and prepare preliminary cost assessments
• Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
• Set up and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
• Monitor, analyze, and adjust contract expenditures as projects progress
• Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers, subcontractors, and trade partners
