Carpenter

Aspen Sundecks Ltd is searching for permanent, full time 02, Carpenter as soon as possible.

Business location is Suite 203-145 Schoolhouse St, Coquitlam, British Columbia, V3K 4X8 We offer wage $40.00 per hour (37.50 hours per week).

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time (Weekends , overtime if required)

Job Duties:
• Build and assemble wooden, composite, or metal decks according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality craftsmanship
• Measure and cut wood, composite, and other materials accurately to meet deck design specifications, ensuring minimal material waste.
• Lay out and construct the foundation and framing for sundecks, including posts, beams, joists, and supports.
• Install railings, stairs, and other deck features, adhering to building codes and safety standards.
• Inspect and repair existing decks, addressing issues like rot, cracks, or structural wear to restore safety and aesthetics.
• Follow safety protocols and building codes, ensuring the worksite is secure for both workers and clients.
• Maintain a clean worksite, properly dispose of debris, and ensure all tools and materials are safely stored after each shift.

Requirements:

Education: High school an asset.
Experience: 2-3 Years of relevant experience
Language: English

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations as per company contracts.
