As part of our expansion plan, we are currently hiring aBusiness Services Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the company, ensuring the smooth coordination of multilingual projects and client services across various sectors such as legal, medical, corporate, and government.
  • Design and implement internal workflows, operational protocols, and company policies to streamline the translation services delivery and maintain consistency across all language services.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their translation needs, develop customized service plans, and offer professional insight to support project goals and timelines.
  • Guide and support translation teams in ensuring that quality control measures are in place, including linguistic accuracy, formatting consistency, and compliance with client specifications.
  • Monitor expenditures and manage financial planning for translation assignments, including project budgeting, supplier payments, software licensing, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the company’s point of contact in professional networks and industry events, promoting the organization’s services and fostering relationships with potential partners and clients.
  • Provide hands-on support to staff when challenges arise – whether technical, procedural, or client-related – and work collaboratively to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor both full-time staff and freelance linguists; ensure team members are equipped with the right tools and training to deliver high-quality work.

 

Employment requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business administrations, communications, linguistics, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in business services or operations management – preferably within the language services or other professional services.
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, including in-house staff and remote freelancers.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relations, service delivery, and implementing business process improvements.
  • Proficient communication skills in English; additional language skills is an asset.
  • Ability to represent the company professionally in client meetings, industry events, and networking engagements.

 

Salary

$73,000 per year
