Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Post-secondary education in business, retail management, or a related field (preferred but not required)
Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail or convenience store operations
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a strong asset
• Experience with inventory control, cash handling, and customer service
Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle customer issues professionally and efficiently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic math skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Comfortable using email, scheduling software, and basic Microsoft Office tools
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently when needed
Other Requirements:
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of workplace safety and store security procedures.
