Rossland Grocery located in Rossland, BC is looking for a Retail store supervisor.

• Location: Rossland, BC V0G 1Y0
• Salary: $21.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1

Overview

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Work setting:

• Rural area
• Retail business

Responsibilities:

Tasks-

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
