Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Measure and mix spices, herbs, and sauces according to traditional Punjabi recipes
• Marinate meat or prepare base gravies or broths in advance
• Maintain proper temperatures for soups and hot items on the stove or in warmers
• Assist with plating, packing takeout orders, or refilling soup containers
• Manage kitchen operations
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
