Title of the Position: Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Plan, control and forecast budgets, expenditures and inventory; set pars and reduce waste.
Analyze operating costs, sales and other data to spot trends and correct variances.
Perform financial calculations, including recipe/menu costing, pricing and break-even analysis.
Hire, schedule and supervise staff; oversee onboarding, training and day-to-day supervision.
Conduct performance reviews for managers and staff; set goals and follow up.
Develop and maintain quality management and quality assurance standards; run routine QA checks.
Enforce municipal and provincial regulations (public health, OHS, employment standards, licensing); keep inspection-ready records.
Order and purchase equipment, food and supplies; verify receiving and reconcile invoices.
Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures; resolve workplace issues.
Develop policies, procedures and SOPs; attend to other management responsibilities as assigned.
Create production schedules, prep lists and duty assignments to ensure smooth service.
Manage training and development strategies; maintain certification records and refresher timelines.
Prepare weekly and month-end reports with clear action items for continuous improvement.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience,
Experience
2 years or more experience in restaurant/hotel management.

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 35 hours of work per week
