We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Contractor to join our dynamic team to assist with the installation, maintenance, and optimization of telecommunication systems for clients across Canada. As a contractor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services related to telecommunication infrastructure, including fiber optics, broadband, wireless, and voice communication systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in telecommunications, a strong understanding of relevant technologies, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver top-tier results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Setup:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment including routers, switches, modems, fiber-optic cables, wireless access points, and related infrastructure.

  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve system issues, perform routine maintenance, and update software/firmware for network devices. Work with team members to address service outages and network performance issues.

  • Network Testing & Optimization:

Conduct performance testing, signal analysis, and network assessments. Provide recommendations for improving system reliability, performance, and security.

  • Project Management & Documentation:

Manage assigned projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. Maintain accurate and detailed records of installations, repairs, and modifications. Prepare and deliver reports to clients as needed.

  • Client Interaction:

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Offer technical support and explain complex issues in a clear, customer-friendly manner.

  • Compliance & Safety:

Adhere to safety protocols and relevant local, provincial, and federal regulations. Ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.00 per hour/ weekly

Expected hours: 40 per week
