Aksh Construction and Drywall Ltd. located in Surrey, BC provides services for residential and commercial projects. We are seeking diligent and hard-working individuals for the position of Drywall Taper Helper to be a part of our growing team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $36.60 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley and/or as per company contracts.

Job duties:

• Load and unload drywall compound, tools, and materials, and move them to work areas.
• Clean and organize the workspace before and after taping work.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling scaffolding or ladders as needed for drywall taping.
• Move taping and filling materials to required locations as per the Drywall Taper’s instructions.
• Sand taped joints and filled areas to prepare for finishing.
• Operate basic hand tools as directed.
• Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
• Work alongside Drywall Tapers and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and site guidelines.
• Perform other tasks related to drywall taping and finishing.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Some work experience in similar work would be an asset but not mandatory.

Note

• Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided for up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
