Cashier (2 Vacancies)

We, Carlyle Liquor Store are currently hiring 2 full-time and permanent Cashiers (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants)

Position: Cashier

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: 103 Railway Ave E, Carlyle, SK S0C 0R0

Work Settings: Liquor Store

Wage & Benefits:

- C$15.00/hr based on 33-37.5 hrs/wk

- 15 days paid vacation and overtime will be provided after 8hrs/day, or 40hrs/week

Education: Not required

Experience: We will train

Language: English

Duties:

- Greet customers in a polite, friendly way

- Identify the price of goods and tally the total payment required, using the cash register

- Receive and process payments

- Bag the merchandise

- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco

- May stock shelves and clean the check-out area

- Balance the cash at the end of work shift
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
