Job Duties






  • Setting up and closing the line which includes but not limited to working on cooking, cleaning and organizing various fooditems and equipment.


 



  • Knowing and learning the internal recipes, policies, and standard portion sizes for food items as per restaurant’s set standardsand procedures.


 



  • Preparing the ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant menu.


 



  • Maintaining the freshness and preserving the quality of food items based on restaurant’s internal set standards to haveoptimum quality.


 



  • Working in a team of cooks to handle varying levels of activities.


 



  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe workspace at all the times to keep the workspace free from contamination and/or crosscontamination.


 



  • Being aware of and abiding all kitchen related health and safety regulations and guidelines.


 



  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. 





 


 


Desired Skills & Qualifications






  • Completion of secondary school is required.


 



  • A minimum of 2 years of cooking experience is required.


 



  • Experience with Indian, Indo-Fijian, East African cuisines, fusion and/or similar.
