Truck Drivers’ Supervisor

Galaxy Freightline Inc. located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Truck Drivers’ Supervisor on a Permanent full-time basis. Job Duties

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of drivers who operate commercial motor vehicles.
• Monitor, coordinate and report work activities with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with all companies, clients, Ministry of Transportation and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring.
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
• Supervises and train staff/drivers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
