Compensation:
$38.00/hour for 32 - 40 hours a week

Permanent, Full time, Part Time, Extended working hours, weekends

Job Description

• Install and repair wiring, control, lighting fixtures and equipment, including switches and circuit breakers
• Connect power to the equipment and the devices to be installed
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using a variety of testing devices like ammeters, voltmeters, cable testers etc. and       replace faulty components
• Conduct preventive maintenance, if needed
• Collaborate with electrician and other electrical staff to identify and solve problems
• Test malfunctioning equipment, identify defects, troubleshoot, repair equipment, and replace electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other diagrams
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring and/or equipment
• Install fire alarms, rough-in suites, pull wires through conduits and mount electrical boxes
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Coordinate with other electricians, building engineers and architects to help design electrical systems for new construction

Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school completion is required
• Atleast 1 years’ experience of working in the relevant field is required or  1 year of experience as an Electrician Helper

Location of Work:
Candidates will be required to work for various locations in Greater Vancouver & Lower Mainland depend upon the Company's contracts.

Security and safety guidelines must always be kept in mind and be strictly followed at all the times. Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toe-cap shoes are must while performing the job duties. We provide safety gears.
