Terms of Employment:
Term or Contract/ Full-time 40 hours/week paid at $35/hr

Job Title: Assistant Chef

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan menus and direct food preparation and ensure menus meets quality standards
• Prepare and cook complete meals, specialty foord, entrees, and food packages for events such us banquets
• Recruit, hire, train and/ or instruct kitchen workers of plan activities
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff 
• Estimate cost and labour expense, maintaine records of food inventory, including sales and consumption
• Requisition of food and kitchen supplies
• Create new recipes and cook specialty ordered menus from guest

Work Conditions:

• Fast-paced environment and work on tight schedules
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Standing for extended periods
• Walking and Physically Demanding

Job requirements:

• At least high school  graduate or it's equivalent foreign graduates
• Work Experience of at least 2 years
• Can speak and write in English
• Provision of Police certificate
