Elderly Caregiver

Tiara family residing in Surrey, Canada, is looking for caregiver for their elderly Mother. They are looking for caring, patient, hardworking, sincere, attentive and trustworthy Caregiver.

Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent, 40hrs. Per week
Language: English
Education: Completion of High School or Equivalent.
Salary: $24 / hour
Experience: Not Mandatory
Location: Surrey, BC, V4N 5K8

Work site environment: Non-smoking

Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in regular exercise.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Book appointments with the doctor or any other appointment.
• Accompany them to the doctor.
• Serve hot meals when the employer is not home.
• Help in mending the bed and cleaning their bedroom.
• Take full responsibility to give them medicines in proper time.
• May have to accompany the elderly to the nearby park on a wheelchair.
• Talk to them and keep them engaged.
• May have to make light meals as per the health condition of the elderly.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• May have to do laundry for the elderly couple.
• Keeps the area including the washroom slip and obstruction free.
• Assist in regular walks with support.
• Assume full responsibility of the household (in the absence of the householder)

Strictly no smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. Per week

Overtime: 1.5 times employee's regular wage after 8 hours a day of work

Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. (Note: This is not a condition of employment.)
