Construction Labourer (NOC 75110)

Wage: $47.72  per hour (full-time; 40 hours per week-weather permitting)+ benefits according to LiUNA collective agreement

Location of Work:  Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario

Job Description:

• Load, unload & move construction materials by hand or using material handling equipment machine
• Operate as required forklift machine to load and unload materials
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, forms, ramps, barricades, etc. at construction sites
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as mortar, cement, etc.
• Assist bricklayers and various tradespersons in construction activities
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Job Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in construction
• Ability to follow instructions & be trained
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Capable of working in a fast-paced labour-intensive environment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without strain
• Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
