Cook – Portuguese Cuisine (NOC 63200)

Wage: $28.39 per hour (full-time position, 40 hours per week) (must be able to work days, evenings and weekends)

Job Description:

• Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Estimate food requirements
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Work with specialized cooking equipment (deep fryer, grill, etc.)
• Clean kitchen and work areas and wash dishes as required

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 of experience in preparing and cooking Portuguese-style chicken, pork, fish, seafood, rice, soups, potatoes, regional dishes, etc.
