Mechanical Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer at Hycroft Engineering in BC, Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of the product
• Suggest methods to improve operational efficiency
• Work cross-functionally with different teams and organizations
• Supervise technicians and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected problems.
• Design machines, components, tools, fixtures and equipment
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites or in industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
