Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage rate: $29.50 / hour, 40 hours/ week

Work Location: Various locations all over lower mainland

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Education: High School

Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required

Language:  Basic English

Job Duties:

°       Reading blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.

°       Installing, repairing and maintaining domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing systems.

°       Marking positions for pipe connections and fixtures in walls and floors.

°       Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.

°       Measuring, cutting, bending and installing pipes using hand and power tools.

°       Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.

°       Testing pipes for leaks and welding pipes.

°       May help in preparing cost estimates.

Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature. 

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Bending, crouching, kneeling
