Food Services Manager

Full-time position with Queen's Pizza and Wings located at178 Queen Street South, Hamilton, Ontario L8P 2S7. The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with some weekend shifts required.  The candidate will receive compensation at the rate of $28.50 per hour, with overtime being paid after 44 hours. The qualified candidate will have two to three years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant setting. The qualified candidate must be able to communicate in the English language.

Duties will include:  Planning, organizing and evaluating daily operations of the restaurant; Recruiting, hiring and training new staff; Preparing work schedules for staff; Monitoring and supervising staff to ensure compliance with restaurant standards and safety protocols; Conducting performance reviews of staff; Ordering and receiving food supplies within budgetary constraints; Resolving customer complaints; Ensuring food is prepared in accordance with health guidelines, including administering regular testing for quality assurance; Ensuring regular preventative maintenance is done for all kitchen equipment; Performing regular inspections of kitchen area and restaurant to ensure cleanliness in accordance with Public Health standards.
