Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: One year or more years of work experience
Specific Skills: Direct and oversee the activities of staff involved in preparing and portioning food, ensuring adherence to food handling and preparation standards, Estimate requirements and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation. Place orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing, Maintain the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness, Address and resolve customer complaints promptly; interact with customers to gather feedback and ensure a satisfactory dining experience, Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. Analyze data to support operational decisions and prepare detailed reports for management review, Establish and manage work schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels that align with budgetary constraints and operational needs, Lead and develop the kitchen team, providing training and support as necessary.
