We have over 1200 rental units available and are looking for a transportation coordinator, to handle our rental services.

Salary                      :          $29.00 per hour

Duration                  :          Full Time – Permanent

Work Hours             :          40 hours per week

Education                :          Diploma / Degree in Business / Supply Chain / Management

Experience              :          Minimum 1 years

Responsibilities

  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
  • Track and complete work orders
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Perform routine clerical duties
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure proper functioning of equipment
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Organize warehouse and work areas
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies
  • Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
  • Provide customer service
  • Arrange training for staff
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders
  • Follow-up on issues with work orders
  • Keep track of despatching and receiving of equipment. Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Maintain vehicle operator work records
  • Operate radio equipment
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses
  • Respond to urgent calls from individual who find themselves in life threatening situation and who require assistance
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment
