Bun Rieu Phuong Nam Vietnamese Cuisine is a local Burnaby restaurant serving up specialty and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. At Bun Rieu Phuong Nam, you have a variety of Vietnamese dishes including Crab soup with Vermicelli, grilled lemongrass pork chop on steamed rice, Vietnamese Crepe… To assist our growing business, we are looking for a full-time and permanent Kitchen Helper.                  

We offer: C$17.50/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Plus gratuities.

Work location: 7405 Edmonds St, Burnaby, BC V3N 1B1

Employment requirements:

-        Previous experience is an asset.

-        Training is provided.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food ingredients such as vegetables and fruit by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing.
• Put together take-out orders and pack them up.
• Keep things clean by sanitizing tables and kitchen tools and appliances.
• Take out trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floors before, during and after work.
• Perform duties as requested to assist the cook and kitchen staff.
