Store Manager - Retail

SOJ HOLDINGS INC. located at 1303 Hwy 6 Crescent Valley BC V0G 1H0 is looking for Store Manager for its Convenience store. This is a year-round, full–time position.

The right candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Opening and closing the store, including cleaning, and tidying merchandise

Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.

Managing and monitoring financials, including closing out tills at the end of the night or shift

Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees and disciplining them as needed.

Training staff members on in-store theft prevention protocols

Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.

Mentoring Assistant Store Managers or other staff

Creating promotions for the store, or visual merchandising store windows

Respond to customer complaints and comments.

Qualifications:

Education – Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

College degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related field in retail

OR

Retail or Wholesale Experience of 2 – 3 years

Possess the ability to work flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.

We are offering $35.10/hr. 40 hours/week.
