Construction Helper

Dry Link Construction Ltd. located in Surrey; BC is currently hiring 3 full-time Construction helpers to work with their growing team. The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to learn.

Position: Construction Helper

Number of positions: 3

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $28.85 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations(s): Various locations in the Lower Mainland area of BC as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties: 

• Load, unload, and transport construction supplies to the work site.
• Assist skilled tradespersons at work sites in performing various construction activities.
• Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffoldings at construction sites.
• Provide tools and equipment to the tradespersons as required and take care of equipment after work shift.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for further work.
• Mix, pour, spread, and move materials used during construction work as required.
• Clear away debris and other unwanted material from work sites.
• Follow all safety procedures on the work site.

Job requirements: 

• Previous experience will be considered as an asset.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions.
