Overtime: $34.50/hr (As per BC Provincial Standards- for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience required
Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people
Job Duties:
- Ensure the produce department is properly staffed and trained
- Order and manage inventory of fresh produce
- Keep shelves and displays organized and fully stocked
- Assist with scheduling staff to ensure all shifts are covered;
- Supervise staff performance; assign duties; explain responsibilities; and workstations when necessary;
- Resolve complaints, handle conflicts, and professionally interact with a variety of stakeholders such as upper management, employees, and customers;
- Monitor quality of produce and ensure freshness
- Monitor department sales and profits and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
