Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $28.85 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations Various locations in Surrey (BC) and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.        

 

Position duties:

 

  • Move materials to work sites and load and unload construction supplies.
  • Put up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps and barricades at construction sites
  • Mix, pour, and spread construction materials.
  • Assist tradesmen in their work activities such as taking measurements, holding materials, assembling, cutting, threading, etc.
  • Arrange all equipment needed at the work site before starting the job and store them at a safe place at the end of the shift.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Remove rubble and debris from the work site.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces to assist the other construction workers in their jobs.

 

Position requirements:

  • Some work experience as a construction laborer would be an asset.
  • Candidates should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions.
