Education: Minimum Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience - Minimum 7 months to 1 year in the industry would be preferred.

Job Duties:
•Prepare tenders and quotations.
•Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
•Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster.
•Clean and prepare surfaces.
•Cure freshly plastered surfaces
•Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using troweland broad knife if required
•Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
•Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
•Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency.
•Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
•Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
•Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
•Install exterior and interior steel studs.
•Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
•Prepare wall and ceiling layouts.
•Estimate costs and materials.

• Large workload
• Physically demanding

Work setting: The candidate should be available to work full time in the day or evening.
or on weekends, if required.

Job Environment: The job could be located at heights, be Dusty, hot, noisy and outdoors.
