Bottling Line Worker (NOC 95106)

Minimum Education: some secondary school education is required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare filled water bottles for packing and shipping: paste labels and tax stamps on filled water bottles as bottles pass on conveyor.
• Examine bottles to ascertain that labels and stamps have been correctly applied
• Pack water bottles into cartons and paste identification labels on cartons
• Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects
• Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties
• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials

Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills are required
• Prior manufacturing experience and/or training are not required, but are desirable
• Prior third shift experience highly desirable
