Northern Inn is currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our Marketing activities.

Work Location: 3086 16 Highway East, Thornhill, BC V8G 3N5

Position Title: Marketing Coordinator

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Position Available: 1

Wage: $28.75 - $30.75 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay or 10 Business Days of Paid Vacation

Responsibility:

• Develop marketing plan and promotion strategies and related content for direct and digital marketing and advertising campaigns needs of company;
• Analyze market trends and conduct survey in hospitality industry and competitors and prepare and evaluate communications methods to inform internal staff members or publicly;
• Create and manage on marketing materials for both website and printing brochures;
• Arrange special events and promotions to increase the brand awareness of ‘Northern Motor Inn’;
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, newsletters and other materials;
• Monitor and follow up on on-going projects and determine the results of its effectiveness such as new guest rates, re-visit rates, reviews, and survey results;
• Act as spokesperson for ‘Northern Motor Inn’ and answer written and oral general inquiries;

Qualification:

• A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Able to work independently and with a team;
• Attention to detail and highly creative.
