Network Engineer

Shabodi Corp. located at 4 Robert Speck Pky, suite 240, Mississauga, ON, L4Z 1S1 requires 2 Network Engineers on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 45.25 per hour for a minimum of 32 hours or above per week. 2 years to less than 3 years of experience is required as a Network Engineer. Roles and responsibilities

• Designing network solutions including determining the hardware, software, and configurations necessary to meet performance, security, and scalability needs as per company requirements.
• Monitoring network performance and security to ensure optimal operation and identify any issues or potential vulnerabilities.
• Diagnosing and resolving network issues, such as connectivity problems, slow performance, or security breaches. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software configurations, analyzing logs and packet captures, and working with other IT teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Deploying network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. This involves configuring devices according to design specifications and integrating them into the existing network infrastructure.
• Implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, malware, and other security threats such as configuring firewalls, implementing VPNs, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Optimizing network performance to ensure reliability, speed, and efficiency. This may involve tuning network configurations, upgrading hardware or software, and implementing quality of service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical traffic.
• Collaborating with other IT teams, such as system administrators, security analysts, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems and applications.

Domain Knowledge and key skills that the candidate should possess:

• Hands on experience in Layer 3 Routing Protocols such as BGP OSPF RIPv2 Static routes 
• Strong experience in working with TCP/IP protocols.  
• Understanding of layer2 protocol such as CDP, LLDP, STP, PVST, VALN is an asset.
• Must have experience with establishing secure Wi-Fi environment using IEEE 802.1x  
• Understanding of configurating different private 5G devices such as 5G core Enb GNB and UE an asset.
• Experience in establishing SSL VPN tunnel and experience in Computer Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Proxmox is an asset
• Must have SAAS experience such as Microsoft Azure and GCP
