Duties:

Glow construction Ltd.  is currently in need of full- time Carpenter. The qualified candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications.
• Ability to prepare estimates of woods and other materials required.
• Measure, cut and shape wood, wood substitutes and mother materials.
• Construct, fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, and hardware.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Be able to understand building materials, building codes and how to are put together.
• Supervise other workers.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Wages:

$ 30.30/hr for 35 hours a week

Skills Requirement:

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Completion of 2-4 years apprenticeship program or A combination of over four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry is usually required to be eligible for trade certification.
• Trade certification in carpentry would be an asset but not mandatory.
