Dump-truck drivers

JS Nijjar Trucking Ltd. with a business address 1522 E 54TH Ave. Vancouver, British Columbia – V5P 1Y4 is looking for 6 Full-time Dump-truck drivers to join their company as soon as possible.

Wage: $27.50/hr for 50 hr/week +4% Vacation pay or 10 days paid leaves per year.

 Location of Work: Various locations all over the BC such as Merritt, Princeton

Duties:

-           Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks.

-           Load and unload goods

-           Record cargo information

-           Log hours, travel distance and fuel consumption via logbook

-           Oversee condition of vehicle, inspect tires, lights, breaks.

-           Perform routine pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection of vehicle.

-           Pre-plan route for efficiency

-           Keep dispatcher informed and advised of any delays for shipment.

-           Ensure safety of cargo

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• No Experience required, will train. Any previous related experience would be an asset.
• Basic knowledge of English Language
• Must have class 1, A or equivalent driving license or Able to obtain one.
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement required.
